EXACT TIME:  10:30 am

To be heard by Judge LJ Elias and Judge J. Aikenhead.

Jeremiah Duggan died in 2003 in suspicious circumstances. The German authorities refused to investigate. Now seven year on  Erica Duggan gets to the High Court to apply for a fresh inquest.   Erica Duggan: “ The supporters of Justice for Jeremiah are the voice of Jeremiah whose young life was cut short. No country has properly investigated this. It is a violation of the right to life. We plan to show  NEW STATEMENTS to the Judge. The failure in Germany to open investigations shows the violation of the rule of law and the Convention of Human Rights.  The German State has failed us. ENOUGH TIME HAS ELAPSED: The British State has an obligation to establish how Jeremiah died.”

The Attorney General supports the application for a fresh inquest. The legal team, headed by Jeremiah Hymes QC, Frances Swaine and Gideon Habel of Leigh Day and Co are all set to put our compelling case before the Judge. Last month the documentary “Lost Abroad” presented a shocking testimony of the additional pain inflicted on families when there is a death abroad, and there are details which the authorities prefer to ignore.

Supporters of Justice for Jeremiah plan to hold a five minutes silent vigil outside the Court to honour the life of Jeremiah and to mark the importance of the work of the Justice system in upholding the right to life of citizens whether they die in the UK or abroad.

We have to wait till Wednesday afternoon before telling you final arrangements. On Wednesday afternoon as soon as we have the information we will put up details of the exact times. To obtain that information:
